Unfortunately, the oven was out of order, but the host promptly came by to assess the situation. The stovetop worked fine, and since we were mostly there for a wedding, it didn't end up being a major issue. We truly valued our interactions with the host, who even provided some lovely little extras that we didn't expect. A heartfelt thank you for that! I would absolutely consider booking properties managed by them in the future.
We arrived at the property after a long flight, expecting to relax and settle in. Check-in was supposed to be at 4:00 pm, but we were informed there would be a delay due to cleaning staff still working. After waiting until 5:49 pm with no updates, we reached out again and received no response. Finally, after asking for an update at 7:02 pm, we learned that we could check in soon. However, we didn’t get inside until around 7:45 pm. Once we were in, we discovered ongoing repairs from a leak in the downstairs bathroom, with workers still tiling the floor. It was quite noisy, as they were cutting tiles until about 9:30 pm. Additionally, there were dirty fixtures left in the kitchen during our entire stay, and we felt overlooked as there was no apology or effort to address our concerns. I inquired about a partial refund due to these complications, but after being told the owner would need to be consulted, I never received a follow-up. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and I wouldn’t consider renting from this property again.
