Cozy West Palm Beach Efficiency Cottage

We arrived on an afternoon flight, landing around 1:00 PM, and thought we could have a quick lunch before check-in at 4:00 PM. Unfortunately, when we came back at 4:00, we were informed that the cleaning crew was still working and it would take a bit longer. After waiting, we checked in at 7:45 PM after several follow-ups. When we got inside, we discovered that there had been a leak in the downstairs bathroom, and construction workers were still tiling the floor, cutting tiles until about 9:30 PM. To make matters worse, they had left a used toilet and sink with a plunger in the kitchen during our stay. We never received an apology or any attempt to address the situation. I requested a partial refund due to the late check-in and ongoing issues, but was told they needed to consult the owners, and I never heard back. This experience was quite frustrating, and I wouldn’t consider renting again.

This guesthouse is a fantastic find in the often pricey West Palm Beach rental scene. It’s perfect for individuals, couples, or two friends since the bed can be arranged as twins or a king. The location is superb, with plenty of attractions just a short distance away. The kitchen is newly renovated and comes equipped with a stove, fridge, and modern sink and countertops. The bathroom has also been updated and features thoughtful amenities like a dimmer switch for added ambiance. With ceiling fans in both the bedroom and living area, plus great air conditioning, staying cool is a breeze. The closet is well-organized with ample storage options. You’ll also find shared access to a washer and dryer, along with off-street parking, which is convenient (there’s a main house available to rent if you need more space). Our host, Kevin, was prompt in addressing our needs and handled a couple of small issues very positively. All in all, this place met our expectations, and we would definitely consider renting from Kevin again.

Our stay for my sister's bachelorette celebration was absolutely fantastic! This property was a perfect fit for our party of 13, offering ample bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone's comfort. The two guest houses provided a wonderful balance of togetherness and privacy. We loved the beautiful outdoor space, which was ideal for capturing memorable photos. Plus, the location was spot-on, just a short distance from downtown West Palm Beach! The host was very attentive and supportive during our stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for anyone planning a large gathering!

The location of the property was quite a distance from the convention center, taking over 30 minutes to walk and just a 5-minute drive. The room was on the smaller side, featuring only a double bed, a sofa, and a small table. Additionally, the shower facilities were not functioning, and there were no kitchen amenities provided. Considering the price point, it feels quite exorbitant for what is offered. Thankfully, I was able to receive a full refund due to Airbnb's policy, but paying over $300 seems unreasonable for this space and its amenities. I hope for more reasonable pricing and better facilities in the future.
