Golden Dawn

We arrived on a flight that landed around 1:00 pm and were looking forward to having lunch before checking in at 4:00 pm. Unfortunately, when we returned at 4:00, we were informed that the cleaning staff was still working, and we would need to wait a bit longer. After a few check-ins for updates, we finally got access to the property around 7:45 pm. To our surprise, there was ongoing renovation work due to a leak in the downstairs bathroom, and the crew was still there, cutting tiles until about 9:30 pm. It was quite frustrating to see the used toilet and sink left in the kitchen area, and we never received an apology or any compensation offer despite bringing up the issues. I requested a partial refund for the inconvenience, but I was told they needed to consult the owners, and I haven't heard back since. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I doubt I would choose this rental again.

The whole experience was fantastic! Despite our flight being delayed, Kevin was incredibly accommodating and made sure to be at the property when we finally arrived to give us a thorough tour. We truly appreciate everything you did for us!

This property was perfect for our weekend getaway as a group of friends. While there were a few minor things to address (the hot tub could definitely use a good clean and some of the floorboards on the main level are a bit worn), everything else matched the listing perfectly and we didn't face any significant problems. I would definitely consider staying here again.
