The Northwood Retreat: A Historic Hemingway Haven

We had an amazing stay! Kevin was incredibly attentive, answering every question we had almost immediately. Managing the needs of 16 guests can be challenging, but he made it seamless with his excellent communication skills. The property matched the description perfectly. The only hiccup was the oven, which unfortunately wasn't functioning, but Kevin was quick to assess the situation. Thankfully, the stovetop worked fine for our light meals since we were mainly there for a wedding. We were very grateful for Kevin's thoughtful touches during our stay. A huge shoutout to him! We will definitely look for his properties again in the future.

What an amazing last-minute getaway! This apartment was just what we needed for a quick stay. It's got convenient parking and our host was incredibly accommodating. We were thrilled to find it within walking distance to everything - just a couple of minutes to Starbucks, shopping, and some great live music spots. While some aspects of the place, like the couch, show a bit of wear, the stunning views from the window and sliding glass door make it all worthwhile.

Our stay at this property for work was fantastic! The spacious rooms made it easy for everyone to settle in, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable and spotless. The two cottage rooms at the back were a great addition, allowing everyone to have their own privacy with separate bathrooms. The pool area was a lovely feature; the surrounding trees did mean we needed to use the provided nets occasionally, but we enjoyed swimming whenever the weather permitted. The soothing sound of the waterfall at night was a wonderful touch. The neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, and we enjoyed evening strolls to the nearby Publix. It's conveniently located just a short distance from Clematis St and City Place, where there are plenty of bars, restaurants, and the beach. Our host, Kevin, was prompt with responses to our inquiries, which made our stay even better. We'll definitely look to book again in the future!
