Entire rental unit. Serene Retreat Amidst Japanese-Inspired Gardens

The rental was quite a distance from the convention center, requiring over a 30-minute walk or a quick 5-minute drive. The room felt cramped with just a double bed, a small sofa, and a mini table. Additionally, the shower was not functioning properly and the kitchen lacked necessary amenities. Considering the location and facilities, the price seemed exorbitant. I was relieved that the Airbnb policy allowed for a full refund, but paying over $300 felt unreasonable for what was offered. I hope the pricing becomes more reasonable and that the amenities are improved in the future.

We arrived at the property after our flight landed at 1:00 pm, expecting to have some lunch and check-in by 4:00 pm. Unfortunately, when we arrived at 4:00, we were informed that the cleaning staff was still working. After checking in at 5:49 pm, we received no updates despite our inquiries. Finally, we were allowed to enter around 7:45 pm, only to find ongoing construction in the downstairs bathroom due to a leak. The workers were busy tiling the floor and continued their work even until 9:30 pm. To make matters worse, there was a toilet and sink left in the kitchen during our stay. There was no apology or attempt to rectify the situation, and despite asking about a potential discount for the inconvenience, I was told the host would need to check with the owner and I never heard back. This experience was quite frustrating, and I wouldn't consider renting from this property again.

The host was fantastic throughout our stay. Check-in was seamless, and they responded quickly to any questions we had. The condo was spotless and beautifully decorated. The host personally greeted us upon arrival and made everything straightforward. They have a wealth of knowledge about the local area. The location was exactly as highlighted in the listing. This host exemplifies what an ideal Airbnb experience should be. I highly recommend staying at one of their properties.
