Entire rental unit. Free-Spirited Cottage

We arrived at the property around 1:00 PM, hoping to have a leisurely lunch before check-in at 4:00 PM. Unfortunately, when we returned at 4:00, we were informed that the maids were still finishing up, and it would take a bit longer. After waiting until 5:49 PM without any updates, we reached out for clarification and received no immediate response. By 7:02 PM, we inquired again and were told they would provide an update soon. Finally, we were able to enter around 7:45 PM, only to discover that there had been a leak in the downstairs bathroom, and workers were busy tiling the floor. The noise from tile cutting continued until about 9:30 PM, and we were quite surprised to find a used toilet and sink, along with a plunger, left in the kitchen during our stay. There was no apology offered from the host, nor any effort to rectify the situation. I requested a partial refund for the delayed check-in and the inconvenience we experienced, but was told they would need to consult with the owners, and I never received any follow-up. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and I wouldn’t consider renting from them again.

The host came to our rescue around 10 PM when we found ourselves in a tricky situation with another Airbnb that was not prepared for our arrival. Thankfully, we were able to check in last minute at this property, and everything was in perfect order. We truly appreciated the quick support!

The host was incredibly responsive and managed any minor issues with ease. I would certainly recommend this place to others.
