Entire rental unit. Charming 2-bed, 2-bath furnished apartment in City Place

The host was incredibly attentive and supportive during our three-week visit. The location was also perfect for exploring the area.

We arrived in town and landed around 1:00 PM, hoping to grab a bite to eat before checking in at 4:00 PM. However, when 4:00 PM rolled around, we were informed that our check-in would be delayed due to cleaning staff still being on the premises. We waited until 5:49 PM for an update, but received no response, so we inquired again at 7:02 PM and were told they would keep us posted. Unfortunately, we didn't gain access until around 7:45 PM. Upon entering, we discovered that there had been a leak in the downstairs bathroom and that workers were still laying tiles, which they continued to do until about 9:30 PM. Additionally, the used toilet and sink were left in the kitchen throughout our stay, along with a plunger. We never received an apology or any effort to rectify the situation. When I requested a partial refund for the delayed check-in and other issues, I was told the host would need to check with the owners, but I never got any follow-up. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and I would not consider renting from them again.

While I would gladly give the host five stars for their exceptional service, there were a few issues with the unit itself that detracted from the experience. A faucet in one of the bathrooms was broken, but the host promptly arranged for a repair. Additionally, one of the tubs could have been cleaner, and the towels provided were not of the best quality. It would be great if the owner could look into replacing them.
