Secluded Fenced Home with Garden - 10 Minutes from Downtown

We arrived at the property after our flight landed around 1:00 pm, hoping to enjoy some lunch before checking in at the scheduled time of 4:00 pm. Unfortunately, when we arrived back at 4:00, we were informed that the cleaning staff was still working. After waiting until 5:49 pm for an update, we had to ask again, and still received no response. Finally, at 7:02 pm, we inquired once more and were told we would be notified soon. It wasn’t until around 7:45 pm that we were able to get into the rental. When we did, we discovered there had been a leak in the downstairs bathroom, and construction workers were busy tiling the floor. They even continued cutting tiles until about 9:30 pm, leaving a used toilet, sink, and plunger in the kitchen throughout our stay. There was no apology offered for the inconvenience, nor any effort to rectify the situation. I requested a partial refund for the late check-in and ongoing issues, but I was informed that the owner would need to be consulted, and I never received a follow-up. This experience was quite disappointing, and I would not consider renting from this property again.

We had a wonderful time! The town is charming and friendly.
