The Peacock’s Nest is the perfect Florida getaway location for couples and families. Easy access to everywhere on I-95, plus local beaches, Antiques Row, CityPlace/downtown West Palm Beach, the Convention Center, Palm Beach Atlantic sports complex--and the Ball Park of the Palm Beaches (spring training site for the Houston Astros and the Washington Nationals).
The home is near PBI airport and also close to a railroad track. The potential for noise exist! However, double windows were installed for the purpose of NOISE abatement. The noise is noticeable but not really bothersome!
The entire house (including back-yard hot tub and grill) would be yours to use. Parking is available for one vehicle in the driveway. The parking space in front of the house should also be available.
I'm a 33 year resident of the neighborhood, and am happy to help orient guests to everything there is to offer.
Neighbors here take care of their homes (mostly from the 50s with a few 20s-style Mediterranean). Good walking neighborhood (4 blocks from the Intercoastal waterway)--down the block from a bodega and 6 blocks to a bigger supermarket. The neighbors are friendly and kind!
Easy access to I-95 and 10 mins to beaches, city, and sports complexes.
Your host is Angie, a native Floridian who has decorated her place with special touches: seashells in the calm bedroom, peacock feathers to celebrate her colorful last name, and "The Hemingway Room” filled with Florida memorabilia!
