We are on the island, only a few minutes away, and will provide contact information for any questions or concerns. ✔ Please report damages to the Host immediately to avoid additional replacement fees. ✔ Our home is 100% self-check-in so we require guests to complete a digital rental agreement and check-in form before arrival to gain access to the home. Upon booking, we may require a copy of the lead guest’s driver’s license. ✔ Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please respect our neighbors, we ask our guests not to have parties or events. ✔ We provide a starter kit of basic supplies. For longer stays, guests will need to furnish items needed for their stay. ✔ We have one security camera overlooking the front door, that detects and videos upon motion, for safety reasons. ✔ An additional charge of $25 per unauthorized extra guest, per night, will apply to any guests exceeding the booked occupancy. X Primary Contact is responsible for all guests along with anyone who enters the home during the stay to abide by the villa rules. X No Smoking of Any Kind: Smoking of any kind will result in an additional $800 cleaning and Ozone fee. This includes vaping, cigarettes, marijuana, cigars, or any other form of smoking. While we love kids, we have not set up the property to protect them from harm. Parents who bring small children will be required to watch them at all times and assume liability. **WEATHER** Florida is subject to hurricanes, tornadoes, tropical storms, water spouts, other high-wind events, and acts of God. BOOKINGS YET TO BEGIN They are RARE, but, if, at any time, our property is under a tropical storm/hurricane watch, where the National Weather Service (NWS) published hurricane “incidence cone” remains focused on our geographic region, with projections of a category strength of CAT 1, or more, forty-eight (48) hours prior to your booking, we will attempt to contact you to notify you that we are cancelling your booking. We HIGHLY recommend purchasing travel insurance in the event that a weather event happens and your stay cannot start or is interrupted, as no refunds will be granted for impending or unfortunate weather. WEATHER DURING ACTIVE STAYS If you are our guest when a Tropical Storm/Hurricane Watch is announced by the NWS, we will advise you to curtail your stay, and make arrangements to leave the area. If the storm, in the estimation of the NWS, has the potential to reach a level of Category 1, or greater, in our area, you agree to depart the premises, when requested by our staff, or the authorities. NOTE: Our home is located on an island surrounded by water and is subject to flooding and at risk for storm surge in such a weather event. Singer Island is connected mainland to the north by a road that may flood and can be unpassable; and to the south by a bridge that will be closed by authorities when winds reach a speed that is deemed unsafe for vehicles to pass. You, the guest, are responsible for your own safety, evacuation plans, and transportation in such an event. We will offer you a pro-rata refund of your stay for the remaining days according to the Airbnb Extenuating Circumstances Policy.
