You can bike or take a short ride to the island of Palm beach (across the bridge) if you prefer a more relaxed beach atmosphere yet with often big waves and surfers/kite activity, or you can take a quick 7 minutes ride (2.7 miles) to the Riviera beach marina and jump on a 5 minutes water taxi ride or rent a kayak/paddleboard that will take you to the stunning Peanut island...or last but not least, you can visit the famous Singer island beach, just 4.5 miles north east for one of the nicest beach parks (John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, Ocean Reef Park, Phil Foster Park), with nearby beach restaurants and shops.
