Enter through the large wooden door and step into the spacious, open living room with a beautiful central fireplace and modern, designer sofas that surround the wall mounted Smart TV. Step through into the large, gourmet kitchen that comes fully equipped with high-end appliances, sleek stone countertops, a full coffee bar and all the cookware, dinnerware and utensils you could need to cook up a delicious meal for the group. Eat together within the elegant dining room with seating for eight guests, then retire to the parlor with a full-size pool table and a wall-mounted TV giving you the perfect place to watch the game over a drink or two. There are three generous bedrooms within the home with each offering luxuriously large king Casper mattresses, lavish adjoining bathrooms, workspaces and beautiful French doors that open out giving you access to the shared pool and an upper balcony. Surrounding the home you’ll have many shady, sunny and private spaces to rest, relax and recharge. There is an upper balcony with a custom gazebo and an outdoor lounge overlooking the pool area and alfresco dining down by the pool with a BBQ and café style dining around the side. The heated pool gives you the perfect place to cool down on a warm afternoon while the inviting sun beds give you a place to read, soak up the sun and feel like you’ve stepped into a 5-star Spanish resort. All that’s missing is a cocktail! With the popular Clematis Street, Downtown West Palm Beach and Northwood Village all just minutes from your door and the gorgeous sandy beach, yacht club and Palm Beach Island all close by, you will love this amazing central location for your next family or group getaway. Guests have private access to the entire main home and private resort-style yard with its lush gardens, courtyards and pool as well as free fast Wi-Fi, complimentary coffee/tea, bathroom amenities and access to streaming apps on the smart TVs. There are two other units on the property (1 bedroom / 1 bathroom each) that are located around the pool area. The pool and patio area are shared amongst all units and guests. We strive to make sure your time at the house is relaxing and enjoyable and are always available during your stay if there are any questions or for any recommendations on what to do and see in the area. Unfortunately we are located in Portland, OR so I won't be available onsite but we have a local team of cleaners and handymen should something arise. The home is located in one of the most historic neighborhoods in West Palm Beach, Old Northwood, giving you a great central base only a short drive from the Palm Beach Island beaches and some of the best shopping in the area. Pack the golf clubs and enjoy the many courses surrounding the home including Bear Lakes, Emerald Dunes, Palm Beach and the Lone Pine Golf club just to name a few. If you love nature take a drive to the Grassy Waters Preserve where you can kayak through the wetlands then make your way to the Manatee Lagoon or the popular Lion Country Safari for a fun family day out. Clematis Street is the historical heart of Downtown West Palm Beach and is only 7 minutes from your door. Starting at Flagler Drive on the Intracoastal Waterway, walk west to experience the indigenous flavor of the area's colorful boutiques, nightclubs, live music, restaurants and historical landmarks. Thursday nights come alive from 6 to 9 p.m., when the popular Clematis by Night features live music by the area’s best bands, food and drink specials, and an unmatched social scene. If you like great deals while shopping, the Palm Beach Outlets is the place to go with high-end retail at clearance prices, perfect for the shopaholic. Art aficionados can visit the many museums where you can view extensive collections of American, Chinese, contemporary and European pieces at the Norton Museum of Art. Walk through the jungle-like Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens or take in a show at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. With so much to see and do you’ll be planning your next trip before you’ve even checked out! The best way to get around West Palm Beach is by car with ample on street parking available (no time limit or street sweeping). The free and user-friendly West Palm Beach Trolley is another way to get around central West Palm. There are three lines offered but the most used are the yellow and green lines, which service attractions like Clematis Street, the Kravis Center and City Place. The yellow line runs daily from 11 a.m. to 9 or 11 p.m., while the green line starts at 7, 9 or 11 a.m. and runs until 7 p.m. each day. Our villa is located only 8 min from the Brightline station which provides affordable and fast connection to Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. If you don’t have a car, you can also use a taxi or a rideshare service like Lyft or Uber with plenty of cars available at all times of the day and night. ★ SHARED SPACE ★ You are renting a 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom unit that is part of a larger estate (3 separate units). You have your own private entrance and unit, but the common spaces (patio, grill, pool, etc) are shared amongst all guests. We ask that you are respectful of other guests staying at the property. Please respect quiet hours around the pool from 9pm - 8am. ★ OLD NORTHWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD ★ Our villa is located in Old Northwood which is home to 320 historic homes. The Old Northwood neighborhood has added security measures which features cameras on nearly every corner and licenses plate readers at entrances to the neighborhood. We've never had any safety issues at our property but the neighborhood ~15 blocks / ~1 mile north (towards Riviera Beach) is still changing and a bit rougher. ★ OLD HOUSE ★ The home was built in 1928 (almost 100 years old!). Since this is historic home and it definitely has some charm. Many of the features are original to the home (pocket doors, hardwood floors, etc.) The home was recently renovated but you'll still hear some creaks, see some scuff marks or occasionally get a historic house smell. None of these should materially impact your stay, but we want to make sure you're aware. ★ NEIGHBORING PROPERTY★ The property next to us is a small multifamily property that is currently undergoing renovation. Most of the loud noise is behind us (exterior/structural items) you might occasionally hear some noise from time to time. Unfortunately the contractors tend to litter in the alleyway next to the property. We do our best to keep it clean. ★ BBQ GAS GRILL★ The property has a gas grill for guest use. Grill will be used at your own risk and you must assume liability. The grill must be cleaned after every use and before check out. Propane tank must be turned off after use. Guests be charged an additional cleanup fee if the grill is not cleaned. We can't guarantee the fullness of the propane tank. If you need to replace it, please send us a copy of your receipt and we're happy to reimburse you. ★ POOL ★ The unit opens up directly to the patio pool deck. Pool will be used at your own risk and you must assume liability. No diving is allowed and no life guards are present. There is not a child safety gate or net around the pool- children are to be supervised at all times and not left unattended in the backyard. ★ COVID-19 SANITIZATION ★ Heath, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out. ★ NO SMOKING ★ Please refrain from smoking inside the home or courtyard/pool area! Any smoking evidence will result in a fee for odor removal, duct cleaning, and furniture cleaning. ★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★ We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits. ★ PHOTOSHOOTS ★ We are a photo friendly property.
