Welcome to paradise! Kick back and relax at this serene, sophisticated home. Renovated and furnished with high end finishes; comfortable yet stylish. Enjoy lounging by the pool or chilling in the spa in a resort like atmosphere surrounded with mature, tropical gardens. We are walking distance to Historical Northwood Village with excellent restaurants and eclectic shops. Pristine beaches, famous Palm Beach Island and Downtown West Palm Beach are approx 1mi away. Florida Living at it's best! Located in the heart of Old Northwood. A historical neighborhood, a former mango farm with delicious mango trees everywhere, including our backyard. Summer is when they are in full force of fruiting. >We are walking distance to the fun Village of Northwood, with great restaurants and eclectic shops >1 block off the water and the famous Flagler Dr, approx. 1.5 miles from downtown West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Island. A 10 min ride to many local beaches, and 10 min to Palm Beach airport. You are truly in the heart of it all, whatever your needs are. >The large open floorplan with a great flow and hardwood floors through out. Big comfy couch in the living area to chill, watch TV or entertain. Split bedrooms, with 2 that share a bath on one side and a bedroom with bath en suite on the other. > Kitchen is well stocked for making any meals you may want. >French doors open off the kitchen and dining area to the large pool and spa. Plenty of places to hang out and chill, get some sun, have a meal, all surrounded by mature, lush gardens with fruit trees, like banana, mango and lime. A true tropical paradise. >We are happy to provide the basics of toilet paper, 2/bathroom, paper towels, coffee, spices and cooking supplies to get you started. If you are staying longer than a few days you will need to stock up on your own provisions if you use up ours. > BBQ is available, please be sure to turn off the gas tank and clean the grilling racks after each use. Let us know if it is empty and needs to be replaced. >There are 2 bikes for you to enjoy, located in carport, with a tire pump. USE AT YOUR DISCRETION. We are not responsible for your misuse of the bikes. >The pool gate protection is there for a few reasons: 1. Protection for children who may wonder off into the pool and can not swim. PLEASE SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. 2. To deter any critters who may get into the pool and relieve themselves. You are welcome to just open at the gate and use accordingly, or remove it completely. It just pops out of the drilled holes, (we have plugs for those) and folds over easily, storing it on the side of the house. However, we strongly suggest you put it back up at night to keep the pests out. IF you leave it off over and an animal relieves themselves in the pool, DO NOT SWIM!! You will be responsible for the service call to clean it and shock the water with heavy chemicals. This will mean the pool can not be used for at least 5 days for your safety precautions. The whole house is yours. Although we do keep a car in the garage; so please be mindful when you are in there doing laundry. Entry to the house is coded and keyless. You will be given an access code of the last 4 digits of your phone number on the day of your arrival to make things easy for you. I live a few blocks away and always available via messages here, phone or text. Northwood Village is a historical neighborhood founded in the early 1900's and was once a mango grove. There are tons of mango trees all over and the streets are lines with large mahogany trees. You'll love walking the neighborhood with it's lush vegetation and gorgeous, multi million dollar homes. We are just a few blocks to the "Village" with delicious restaurants, fun nightlife and charming shops. Flagler drive is also just 1/2 a block away, and takes you along the waterfront, leading to downtown West Palm Beach and Rosemary Square; only 1.5mi, for more fantastic restaurants, shops and nightlife. The outlets are only a 10 min drive with Whole Foods and all the outlets shops you can wish for! We are only 10 min from Palm Beach airport, super close, (1 mi) to the famous Palm Bach Island with high end shops and restaurants. There is so much to do here it's too much to list. Check out my guidebook for more details on places to visit and enjoy. Our home has off street parking in the drive way. Or you are welcome to park in front of the house as well. Parking is free in our neighborhood and Village. Downtown West Palm Beach is meter parking, they take credit cards and the parkmobile app. We have a free, local service called Circuit (tipping is expected) that goes within the downtown area. It's like a supped up golf cart. It drops close to our neighborhood, but not direct. The Brightline is our fast Train and awesome to get to Ft Lauderdale, Miami and now Orlando. They have a free shuttle to the airport from the Ft. Lauderdale and Miami airports. But NOT from the airport to the station, yet. However they have Uber/Lyft services and easy pick ups. Check out their website to confirm and for more details. We take the Brightline to Ft Lauderdale airport for the trips that can be more cost effective from there, be sure to check it out. Uber or Lyft are always easy to take you any where you want to go, which we do often to avoid driving and parking. We also have bikes for your convenience as well. Everything you need is close and easily accessible.
