The Palm-à-terre cottage is inspired from Palm Beach Regency and Slim Aarons "Palm Beach Idyll" Photography which presents an iconic time-capsule of a bygone era. Outdoor Brimming with lush landscaping, swaying palm trees and native plants, this outdoor retreat is completely private and makes you feel like you’ve stepped into your own tropical oasis. Salt water pool access, calming pool fountain, designer lounge chairs, sun umbrellas, garden views, outdoor seating, outdoor dining table, BBQ gas grill. Guest access Your cottage is completely private and will not be shared. Please note, the backyard pool and garden area are shared with the other guests staying at the adjacent rentals (Pink Palm House & Studio). There is enough space for everyone to enjoy the beautiful property ! Security Private gated property with a 4 pin access code which will be provided to guests in advance. BBQ Gas Grill The property has a gas grill for guest use. Grill will be used at your own risk and you must assume liability. The grill must be cleaned after every use and before check out. Propane tank must be turned off after use. Guests will be charged a $50 cleanup fee if the grill is not cleaned. Pets One well behaved pet under 25 lbs is welcome for an additional pet cleaning fee. Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are always welcome and stay for free. Contact hostess to learn more. DISCLAIMER: This property does not allow unauthorized events, parties, photo shoots or gatherings of any kind. **The property and backyard pool area are not childproof. Our property is not suitable for children, toddlers and infants as the pool is not gated and the cottage is not child-proofed. Please get prior approval to bring an infant, toddler or small child to the property. Parents must watch children at all times and assume liability!** POOL- the cottages walk out directly to the backyard pool deck. There is not a child safety gate or net around the pool- children are to be supervised at all times and not left unattended in the backyard. PLEASE NO SMOKING ***No glass dishes allowed in the backyard for safety seasons. There are plastic plates and cups provided for outdoor dining and drinking*** Outdoor guests not allowed without permission. Additional guests may be allowed for an additional guest fee with prior approval from the hostess. Your rental unit is completely private and will not be shared. However, the backyard pool and garden area are shared with the other guests staying at the adjacent rentals (Pink Palm House & Studio). We have never had issues with guests sharing the backyard or pool as is enough space for everyone to enjoy the beautiful property! The hostess Gwendolyn is available to answer questions and give local advise and recommendations. You may see Gwendolyn on the property so feel free to say hi. Northwood Village, located just mere miles from the hustle and bustle of Clematis St. and City Place in West Palm Beach offers the old town vibe as antique shops and boutiques line the streets. This place is great to go if you are looking to browse one of the many art galleries and vintage shops or dine on international cuisine. The tree lined Old Northwood neighborhood is on the banks of the Intercoastal waterway and is filled with historic homes dating from the 1920's. The Magnolia Cottage is within walking distance of the waterfront parks, outdoor cafe's and trendy shops of Northwood Village. Please note, we are a dog friendly property so there may be small size guest dogs in the backyard including my adorable King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. She’s a sweetheart. There are also some neighborhood cats who like to come chill in the backyard. Florida wildlife can include lizards, iguanas, possum and sometimes you can see exotic parrots flying overhead! The property and cottages are sprayed monthly for bugs and insects but please let me know if there are any issues.
