Built in 1925, “CASA BISCAYNE” is your gorgeous, historic, home away from home. Located in the most desirable neighborhood in the Palm Beaches, Flamingo Park. Within walking distance of Grandview Public Market, Table 26, Serenity Tea House, Grato’s, HIVE Bakery, The Square, Bedner’s Farmer’s Market, the Norton Museum of Art, and more. Explore our beautiful neighborhood on foot, or on one of our complimentary bicycles. Relax in your heated pool, or discover the many beautiful local beaches.

The space
Your vacation begins the moment you step foot on the property. Tropical landscaping greets you at “CASA BISCAYNE”. We have created many outdoor spaces for you to enjoy the weather South Florida is famous for, especially in the winter season. This historically significant home has been respectfully restored, while also including modern features to enhance your stay. For your convenience we’ve included USB and USB-C chargers at each bed side, two in each room and one at the desk/office space as well, to keep all your devices charged and ready to go.

The primary bedroom has a king bed with a top of the line Black Beauty Rest Hotel series mattress, with en-suite private bath and the original 1925 clawfoot tub and shower.

The guest room has two twin beds that can easily be converted to a second king sized bed. The second full bathroom is right next door to the guest room and has a shower with a bench.

The pool house is a private oasis, perfect for a second couple or grown family members. It is located steps away from the main house and has a 60 inch 4K TV, black out shades and has a beautiful en-suite bathroom with a shower.

The hero of this property is the luxurious waterfall pool with sundeck and stunning outdoor spaces. Start your day with yoga poolside, or a morning ride on one of the complementary bicycles. Bask in the Florida sunshine on one of the oversized chaise lounges with pillows. When you’re ready to take a break from sun, escape under the extra large pergola or one of the turquoise Sunbrellas. Start your evening with cocktails by the pool while the kids entertain themselves playing ping pong. Complete your day by preparing an alfresco dinner on the gas grill poolside, served on the large outdoor dinning table and chairs.

Other things to note
“CASA BISCAYNE” is located in a historical neighborhood. Please be respectful of our neighbors and friends. Parties are not allowed. Loud noise and/or music in the pool area after 10:00pm/22:00 hours or before 9:00am is not permitted at anytime, including weekends. Use the pool quietly for a dip if you are out late and be considerate of our neighbors by talking softly. Please, No GLASS in the pool, use the plastic wine glasses and tumblers provided in your kitchen.

The PET FEE is $90 per pet, with a max of 3 pets per stay.

The pool is heated, if you would like the pool heat increased during your stay, I will send you the price for each additional temperature increase during your stay.

There are no two houses that are the same. Walking is a great way to meet your neighbors and see fascinating tropical landscaping and plants from all over tropical regions of the world. Howard Park is a few blocks north of the property, and has tennis and basketball courts, as well as a circle loop for jogging, its filled with giant banyon trees that are extra special to look at if you haven’t seen one before. No swimming in the lake please, we really do have alligators here. We also have the Armory Arts Center which is 3 blocks north and is truly an international attraction.

If you want a nice breakfast pastry or lunch, stroll over to HIVE Bakery and Cafe on Palm Street and Dixie. If you are here attending a convention or going to the Kravitz Center, its a beautiful bike ride and takes about 10 minutes. If you want to grab a beer afterwards, you can head over to Civil Society, our own neighborhood brewery.

For anyone who loves Tea, our own Dublin, Ireland transplant, Audrey Farrelly, lives on Park Place and has the #7 rated tea house in America, with real homemade clotted cream and jams, amazing tea, finger sandwiches, champagne, and proper High Tea as well.

For dinner you can head over to Eddie and Ozzie’s Table 26 (reservations recommended), the food and service are the best of the best, and don’t forget to try their famous House 26 Grapefruit Martini, its delicious!
