Entire rental unit. LuckyHouseWPB: fun pool home close to the beach

Built in 1950, LuckyHouse has been in our family for 3 generations. It's an old quirky, colorful home. We have art and unique pieces throughout the house. A few outdoor murals too. We live in a great family neighborhood next door to a park where you can walk, splash pad it or catch a beautiful sunset. We have a pool and fairy lit backyard and grill. You can hang out at home and relax or go 10 mins east to the beach!
We love our home and invite you to come make some memories in South Florida.

The space
We are located next door to the Hillcrest Paseo park. There is a playground and splash pad as well as a beautiful walking trail and soccer fields. Our home is a two bedroom, one bathroom Old Florida Ranch house. The orange room has a king bed, the sticker room has a queen bed. We also have a full futon bed in the Florida room that opens up as well as a high quality comfy queen air mattress and single twin air mattress. Sleeping space for 6 people on beds and 9 if you include air mattresses... more if you like the people you are traveling with!

Our home is full of art, quirks and character. We promise you will be cozy and feel like you are in a magical space with fun lighting and lots to look at. We have a gated pool, spacious patio, bbq grill, pool deck and all pets are welcome. We are minutes from PBIA and often see planes landing or taking off. Kids love watching them! Please note: the planes do make noise as we are slightly off the flight path....but only for a minute!

We have lots of Dutch touches throughout the home. Mom came from Netherlands when she was 11 along with her 9 siblings. You will see Dutch tiles, delft accents and even the lace curtains in the living room stem from Mom's memories of Holland. Our home is a mix of travel souvenirs, art that I have made as well as pieces that we love from other artists. It is colorful and hopefully a bit unexpected.

LuckyHouseWPB was named after Dad. He was known to everyone as Lucky. Dad flew A4s off the USS Essex in the Navy. He was a badass! We even have a decommissioned tailhook from one of those planes in the house as well as a putt-putt tailhook too. LuckyHouseWPB has lots of love and memories in it and we hope you find that here too.

Pool note: our pool is not heated. In the winter months (Nov - Mar) the water temps usually stay in the 70s, just like our Florida Springs! Winter is the very best time to go to the beach in Florida 🌞

One last thing: LuckyHouse is a real home. Our sheets are fun with patterns and mix match colors and we don't have matching towel sets. We have eclectic furniture and world-wide art, sometimes a little cheeky. We are not a boutique model flip house that is crisp and white. We are comfy and familiar and if that sounds like you, Welcome home!! 🤗

LuckyHouseWPB is all yours. You will have access to the entire home and private pool. If you need anything, we are right across the backyard!
Guests may park in the long driveway or street. We have a well stocked kitchen with standard cooking utensils as well as a rice cooker, crockpot, fry daddy fryer, foreman grill and a charcoal grill outdoors. Laundry is in the Florida room utility closet. We try to keep essentials for cooking, laundry and bathing so check the cabinets first before you shop. Please feel free to use anything in our home.
We have pool floats, beach umbrella and blankets, pet toys and pet bed, some kids toys, books, games, puzzles and a Wii console too. If you need anything please do not hesitate to text us.

LuckyHouseWPB has a strict no parties policy. Thank you for understanding Airbnb and our house rules.
Key-less entry and ample parking in private driveway or on street. Driveway is extra long if you would like to bring your boat! LuckyHouseWPB is kid and pet friendly with gated yards and pool. ✈️We are located very near a flight path of planes and there is some noise when they fly over. However, they fly over very quickly and are neat to watch. At least we think so :) *edited to add -post election- Trump has asked FAA to have planes permanently diverted (unfortunately over our property) for the remainder of his term as they cannot fly over his home on Palm Beach Island.

Our home is 4 mins from PBIA. We are 8 mins to downtown and 11 mins to the beach. We have grocery stores and ample restaurants surrounding our neighborhood. If you'd like a day trip you can take the Brightline train down to Fort Lauderdale /Miami and see the Wynwood art district or Bayside or take in an Inter Miami game and watch Messi play! You can even do Disney in a day trip!

We tried very hard to make your AirBnB comfortable, fun and memorable. We have a big backyard with a nice patio area for snacks and lounging, a great pool and deck, lots of floaties and an excellent guidebook for recommendations during your stay. We start you off with a few basics like some tea/coffee, bathroom essentials and plenty of beach towels! We have board games, children's toys and books. We also love pets, so we have a dog bed, bowls and toys too. Front and backyard are both fenced in. Pool has separate pool fence with gate for safety 🛟.
