RECENTLY RENOVATED
The carefully curated décor is inspired by the sophistication of Palm Beach, playful colors of South Florida, and retro feels from Morikami museum and Japanese gardens. Work from home using our laptop friendly workspace inside the cottage, or from the large swimming pool since high-speed Wi-Fi is located throughout the property. Relax and unwind among the lush, overgrown tropical garden and the ZEN garden and waterfall. The recently renovated, historic property features all you need for a perfect getaway and is close to beaches, shops, restaurants, golf courses and Palm Beach Island.
CENTRALLY LOCATED
Rising Sun is steps from the intracoastal and walking distance to numerous delicious restaurants! (Check out our guidebook for all of our South Florida recommendations, both near and far.) We are 6 minutes to Downtown, 9 minutes to Palm Beach, 12 minutes to PBI Airport, and 6 minutes to the high-speed Brightline train with service to Miami. Be at the beach in less than 10 minutes!

ABOUT THE “WPB Shangri-La”
We are a historic vacation rental property. Our passion for design and relaxation inspired us to renovate the 1924 historic property with care and finesse. With two rental cottages on-site, we operate much like an intimate and peaceful boutique resort getaway. Outdoor spaces are shared just like at a hotel, and every cottage has personal, private access. (No indoor spaces are shared with other guests and every unit has its own A/C system.) A "Rising Sun" guest house is located at the back of the property and a "New England" cottage is located at the front of the property. Both structures are separated by a gorgeous ZEN garden and share a large swimming pool.

- "Rising Sun" cottage (2 bedrooms, sleeps 4 people)
- "Casablanca" cottage (3 bedrooms, where the host lives and is available 24 X 7 for your assistance).

NOTE: All Rising Sun guests share outdoor amenities, which include the mega-large, heated pool and BBQ gas grill. The shared setup is more private! With seating for 10 at the pool, there is plenty of room for guests to social distance and have privacy. To help maintain a peaceful experience, we ask that guests respect outdoor quiet hours at 10:00 pm on weekdays and 12:00 am on weekends.
EXCLUSIVE ACCESS
Overnight guests have exclusive access to our tropical paradise. For this reason, no outside guests are allowed at our resort. We kindly ask our patrons to register the total guest count upfront when booking. Failure to do so could result in additional fees, penalties, or cancelation of your reservation without a refund. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our resort peaceful.

This gorgeous West Palm Beach home—perfect for friends or a couple's getaway—will become your personal paradise complete with a vibrant garden, refreshing pool, local art, custom furniture, and easy access to the Brightline, a high-speed train with non-stop service to Miami and Fort Lauderdale!

BEDROOMS: | Queen Bed | Quin bed/ sofa – sleeper in the living room.

SLEEP TIGHT: We try to think of everything. All guests have access to black-out shades, ear plugs, eye masks and a white-noise machine to help even the lightest sleeper feel at home.

SHARED OUTDOOR LIVING: Pool access, pool float chairs, lounge chairs, garden views, outdoor seating, BBQ gas grill

GENERAL: A/C, Free Wi-Fi, Washer/dryer, laundry detergent, bleach, linens/towels, complimentary toiletries. We also provide a few rolls of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, a few trash bags and some dishwasher detergent pods to help you settle in. We kindly ask that guests provide any additional items should they run out.

HEATED POOL: During the winter our pool can be heated up to 90 degrees. The cost to heat a pool of our size is very expensive. To help keep costs and energy use down, the pool is heated at the request of a guest. Please let us know prior to arrival if you'd like the pool heated so our staff can arrange this service. The cost to heat our pool is $25/day, and will be added to the nightly rate after a request is made.

BEACH AMENITIES: Need beach chairs? An umbrella? We've got you covered! A set of chairs available for guests to use as needed.

PARKING: Private parking.

PHOTOSHOOTS: We are a photoshoot friendly Airbnb! Guests who wish to have photoshoots on-site must get the shoot cleared with your host prior to booking. Guests will need to pay a photoshoot fee upfront and adhere to our house rules which include a capacity cap, quiet hours and check-in / check-out times. While we love to host influencers and brands looking for the perfect backdrop for an upcoming campaign, please remember, we are an overnight accommodation Airbnb resort first.
